Information about Arboleas area
Thank you for your interest, please find within these web pages details of
all the properties and land that are available at the moment, together
with the current building costs for new houses. The properties page
gives all the details that we have for each property but if you have
a specific question about one of the properties, please feel free
to email us.
Arboleas is a typical white-washed village with narrow streets interspersed with small
plazas. Despite its unspoilt charm, the town is not yet on the coach tour
circuit, even being less than an hour's drive from the popular coastal resort of
Mojácar.
Then Arboleas could be the right place! All of the properties we have on
sale are situated in and around Arboleas and the valley of Almanzora,
in the Almeria province of Spain. Conveniently situated 30 minutes inland from the coastal
resorts of Vera, Garrucha and Mojacar, the local towns of Arboleas offer all the
necessary services such as banks, schools, medical centres, bars, restaurants
and shops. The surrounding countryside ranges from lush citrus
groves to rugged mountain peaks.
Living in Arboleas, you'll be ideally placed to get to know the "real Spain" in
this relatively unknown area which has everything from traditional mountain
villages and troglodyte cave dwellers, to beautiful beaches and Europe's only
desert!
Your next step would be to come and view the properties you are interested in.
The easiest way is to book a package holiday at a nearby resort and hire a car,
then if you decide not to buy, you have had your holiday and not wasted your
trip.
All the properties are freehold and free of all debt and each conveyancing is dealt
with by a local lawyer who processes the contract to full title deed
(Escritura). We
will guide you through the whole process, tell you how to set up local bank
accounts and where all the local facilities and building suppliers are. The
coast is from half an hour to 1 hour from all these properties.
The properties are new houses, ruins to be
cleared for rebuilding, partial ruins for restoration, houses that are habitable
but still need improvement, houses needing no work and finally new houses built
to your requirements. Most of these are rural properties, some in hamlets or
villages and some quite remote.
